Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and excellent communication skills, with a passion for providing outstanding patient care. As an Orthodontic Treatment Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, orthodontic consults, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the orthodontic department.

Your role will be vital in delivering a positive patient experience and supporting the clinical team in achieving optimal treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate patient consultations, appointments, and follow-up visits efficiently to maximize clinic productivity.
- Explain orthodontic treatment options clearly to patients, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Manage electronic records accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Assist in preparing treatment plans in collaboration with orthodontists, including scheduling necessary procedures and monitoring progress.
- Provide administrative support by handling insurance claims, billing, and payment processing related to orthodontic treatments.
- Educate patients on proper appliance care,



oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment maintenance to promote successful outcomes.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area that reflects high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Experience

- Previous office experience, particularly within a dental or orthodontic setting, is required to facilitate seamless workflow coordination.
- Knowledge of terminology relevant to orthodontics enhances communication with patients and staff.
- Experience with electronic records systems such as Dolphin and/or Dentrix is essential for efficient documentation management.
- Familiarity with dental office procedures, including appointment scheduling and billing processes, is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal abilities are critical for success in this role.
