Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive osteopathic care focused on improving patients' musculoskeletal health, promoting overall wellness, and enhancing quality of life. Your expertise will help diagnose, treat, and prevent a variety of conditions through manual therapy techniques, patient education, and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop tailored treatment strategies
- Perform manual therapy techniques such as manipulation, massage, stretching, and soft tissue mobilization to alleviate pain and improve mobility
- Maintain accurate case management records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up documentation
- Educate patients on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support long-term health goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members such as acupuncturists , massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes




- Stay current with medical terminology updates and advancements in osteopathic practices to ensure the highest standard of care
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using Jane app

Skills

- Fluency in English or other multilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Previous experience or acute care experience demonstrating ability to handle complex cases swiftly and effectively
- Strong communication skills for clear patient interactions and team collaboration
- Mechanical knowledge related to musculoskeletal systems and therapeutic equipment usage
- Excellent organizational skills combined with time management abilities to handle a busy caseload efficiently
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to osteopathic practice and case management
- Osteopathy licence recognized by the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners
