AMS is seeking a motivated individual to assist in maintaining its state-of-the-art facility at the University of British Columbia. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, performing minor repairs, and ensuring all areas are well cared for. This is an excellent opportunity for students or those with a background in handy work seeking a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with the facility upkeep
• Assist during building closures and facilitate safe exits




• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on various equipment
• Keep workshop areas clean and organized
• Order maintenance supplies as per AMS guidelines

Requirements:
• Experience in repairs, painting, or related trades
• Strong communication skills in English
• Positive and proactive work attitude
• Physical ability to lift up to 60kgs (132lbs)
• Prior experience in maintenance is a plus
