Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our energetic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various products and components, ensuring high-quality standards and a polished appearance. Your expertise will contribute to the production of durable, visually appealing items that meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, primers, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other power tools with precision and consistency
- Operate machinery such as cranes and forklifts safely to move materials or equipment as needed for painting tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing touches
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous materials responsibly
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct inspections of finished work to ensure smooth application, proper coverage,



and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly

Experience

- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing painting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting issues during painting processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic math skills will support your success in this role
- Experience working with lean manufacturing principles is a plus to promote efficiency and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of machining or assembly processes can enhance collaboration across production stages
- Certification in forklift operation or crane handling is advantageous but not mandatory; safety training will be provided if needed
