Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our energetic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and assisting with various labour tasks to ensure project efficiency and quality.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, primers, stains, and coatings using brushes, and rollers, on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to follow project specifications accurately
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Support carpentry tasks as needed for framing or structural adjustments during restoration projects




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris efficiently

Requirements

- Background in painting preferred; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques including residential, commercial, industrial, and restoration projects
- Experience with hand tools and power tools such as drills, sanders, sprayers, and caulking guns
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Physical ability to perform manual labour including lifting heavy materials and working at heights safely
- Customer service mindset with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
