Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both commercial and residential painting. Spray experience is a bonus.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards.

Jobs are issued on a project by project-basis.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting. Including cleaning, patching, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively, including caulking tools for sealing joints.
- Taking direction from the project manager to ensure a timely completion while mainting quality standards.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the finished product.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.
- Have own equipment, including PPE.
- Have valid liability insurance
- Have valid WorkSafe BC coverage
- Must have a business number

Experience

- Proven experience in residential interior and exterior repaint is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Experience using various hand tools and equipment related to painting and construction work.
- A commitment to safety practices on job sites is required.
