Time Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week

Dublin Productions is looking for a reliable and creative part-time videographer to support an ongoing out-of-home advertising project in Calgary.

Our client operates innovative digital advertising technology within metro and public transit systems around the world. As new advertising campaigns go live in Calgary, we need someone locally who can capture high-quality footage of the advertisements in the real-world transit environment and turn that footage into polished client-ready video content.

This is an ideal opportunity for a film, video production, or media student looking for flexible paid work alongside their studies while building experience with commercial video production and recognizable advertising campaigns from major worldwide brands.

What You'll Be Doing

- Travelling on Calgary's CTrain/transit system to locate and capture newly launched advertising campaigns each week.
- Filming 10-Second advertisements in a way that clearly showcases both the creative and the surrounding transit environment.
- Capturing multiple angles and takes to ensure strong usable footage.
- Organizing and managing footage after each shoot.
- Editing footage into short, polished client deliverables.
- Creating "doughnut" style trailers, combining supplied branded intros/outros with your footage in the centre.
- Making basic colour, audio, framing and timing adjustments as needed.
- Exporting and delivering finished videos according to client specifications.
- Occasionally completing revisions or re-shoots based on client feedback.

Most assignments will be connected to new brand campaign launches, so the workload may vary from week to week. The position will not exceed approximately 10 hours per week.

- Currently studying Film & Video Production, Media Production, Broadcasting, Cinematography, or a related program, or is an early-career videographer.
- Comfortable filming in public and on public transit.
- Confident operating a professional or prosumer camera.
- Experienced with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Able to produce clean, professional short-form video content.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow brand and client specifications.
- Reliable, responsive and able to complete assignments with relatively short notice.
- Based in Calgary and able to easily access the CTrain network.
- Comfortable working independently without on-site supervision.

Previous commercial production experience is helpful but not required. We're more interested in someone with a good eye, solid technical fundamentals and a professional attitude.

Equipment

Access to your own suitable filming equipment is preferred. Please include a brief description of the camera and equipment you currently use when applying.

Schedule

This is a flexible contract position. There are no fixed daily hours.

You'll coordinate with our team, travel to the relevant transit locations, capture the required footage and complete the edit.

We can work aorund your schedule should you prefer after school, mornings, or weekends.

The position is expected to require up to 10 hours per week, with some weeks being lighter than others.
