Shift #2: 2 days per week 12 or 1pm-4pm, Rotating Saturdays 8am-5pm

Duties:
-2 (30 min dog walks per shift)
- Provide a protected and nurturing environment for dogs in the daycare
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities
- Plan and implement developmental appropriate mental and physical activities
- Assist with feedings, bathing, nail trims and overall care of all dogs
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with dogs is preferred
****A leader, someone who comes to work prepared, ositive and ready to get things done.. Doesn’t need constant guidance and being told to get daily routine completed. Can work independently and confidently. Leadership qualities.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with owners and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting
Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide care, support, and supervision to dogs in a daycare setting.
- Educate:
Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for the group
-Walk: Willing and able to walk small groups of dogs (30min walks each). Education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to reward based handling and training must be able to stand entire shift. Work in a fast paced environment.
