Job Summary The Part-Time Educator is a brand ambassador and technical expert responsible for delivering hands-on, science-backed training to salon professionals across the Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair portfolios. This role blends technical education, and relationship-building to drive product knowledge, in-salon activations, and retail/backbar performance across both luxury brands.

Employment Type: Part-Time, On-Demand / As-Needed (No guaranteed fixed weekly or monthly hours — scheduling is based on business and salon demand, typically ranging from 1–6 work days per month.) Availability for flexible/part-time scheduling, including some evenings and weekends for salon classes.

Responsibilities

- Deliver in-salon classes, demos, and one-on-one coaching on Kérastase (e.g., Chronologiste, Genesis, Blond Absolu, Fusio-Dose, Chroma Absolu) and Shu Uemura Art of Hair (e.g., Ultimate Reset, Essence Absolue, Color Lustre) product lines and rituals.
- Train stylists on diagnostic tools (scalp camera) and protocols (e.g., Kérastase K-Scan, in-salon consultation rituals) to support personalized client recommendations.
- Educate on proper application techniques, treatment protocols,



and product sequencing per brand-approved guidelines.
- Support new product launches with structured onboarding and go-to-market education.
- Attend in-salon events and brand activations to engage directly with salon clients, providing personalized hair and scalp consultations.

Skills/Qualifications

- Strong presentation and public speaking skills; comfortable teaching groups of varying sizes.
- Passion for hair science, technical education, and luxury client experience.
- Valid driver's license (travel within territory required).
- Must have Vehicle.
- Comfortable driving up to 3 hours.
- Required materials- Laptop & or Ipad.
- In-depth knowledge of skincare/dermo-cosmetic ingredients and their benefits, with ability to communicate this expertise confidently to clients and salon professionals.
- Comfortable standing for a long period of time and comfortable transporting event materials up to 20lbs.
- Has experience in the beauty industry (skincare, haircare, makeup).

Pay: $200.00-$300.00 per day
