Part-Time HCA / Caregiver – Glenwood & Surrounding Areas

Just Like Family Home Care South Alberta is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced HCA/Caregiver to provide quality in-home care and support to seniors and individuals in their own homes.

We are particularly seeking caregivers who live in or around Glenwood, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Cardston, Magrath, or surrounding communities and are interested in consistent part-time work close to home.

About the Position The caregiver will provide personalized support based on each client's individual needs. Duties may include:

- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Meal preparation and assistance with meals
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Light housekeeping and home support
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Transportation to appointments or dialysis when required
- Respite support for family caregivers
- Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition to the care team
- Following the client's individualized care plan

What We Are Looking For
- HCA certification is preferred; experienced caregivers may also be considered
- Previous experience working with seniors or individuals requiring home care
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
- Reliable and dependable




- Able to work independently in a client's home
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle are strongly preferred, particularly for rural assignments
- Willingness to travel within the surrounding communities when required
