Hydroponic Duties

- Planting seeds in trays according to planting schedules
- Transplanting seeds
- Recording plant data to include yields and weights
- Applying fertilizer to feed system
- Ensuring water quality by cleaning water tanks, troughs, filters and floors regularly
- Cleaning customers subscription bags
- Maintaining excel spreadsheets and point-of-sale system
- Talking with customers and potential customers
- Bagging weekly and bi-weekly fresh greens subscriptions for customers
- Working with retailers to wholesale fresh greens
- Sending and receiving emails and responding to customer requests
- Harvesting and delivering leafy greens
- Maintaining an inventory of supplies
- Various general labour tasks such as lifting, moving, and disposing of materials

SCREENING CRITERIA:
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs unassisted
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use computers and software
- Ability to work in tight spaces (must not be claustrophobic)




- Ability to work in all weather conditions

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO:
- Applicants with greenhouse growing and/or hydroponics experience
- Applicants of Nisga'a & Indigenous ancestry
- Applicants with a Driver’s License (‘N’ or Class 5)
