We're Hiring: Part-time Meat cutter — Armour’s Meats

Armour’s Meats is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Meat Cutter. This is a unique opportunity to train under our experienced lead butcher and shop manager to learn the craft of meat cutting in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Whether you're looking to build a career in butchery or you simply have a passion for food and working with your hands, this role offers an excellent foundation and room to grow.

What You'll Learn & Do:

- Assist in breaking down primals into retail-ready cuts
- Learn proper techniques for cutting beef, pork, poultry, and specialty meats
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the cutting room
- Assist with vacuum sealing, labeling, and packing products
- Support the retail team as needed (stocking, customer service)
- Receive one-on-one mentorship from the lead butcher and shop manager

✅ Ideal Candidate:

- Physically fit and comfortable working in cooler environments
- Reliable, punctual,



and eager to learn
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in kitchens, food service, or meat handling is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable handling knives and meat (training provided)
