Tryuu is building a new way for people to discover businesses through real experiences.

We’re looking for a SEO Specialist to help make Tryuu discoverable through Google and other search engines as we launch in Vancouver and grow beyond.

The Role

You will help improve Tryuu’s visibility in search and make sure our growing collection of businesses, experiences, and locations can be found by the people looking for them.

You will

- Conduct keyword and search research to identify opportunities
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content
- Improve internal linking and website structure
- Help optimize business, experience, category, and location pages
- Monitor Google Search Console, rankings, traffic, and indexing
- Identify SEO issues and recommend practical improvements
- Research competitors and identify opportunities Tryuu can pursue
- Help develop SEO strategies as Tryuu’s inventory and website grow
- Work with the development and content teams to implement SEO improvements
- Track results and learn what is driving organic growth

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience with SEO
- Understanding of basic technical and on-page SEO
- Comfortable with keyword research and search intent




- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Strong attention to detail
- Curious, analytical, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Experience with local SEO, marketplace SEO, directory websites, or programmatic SEO is a bonus.

Location

Must be local to Greater Vancouver for occasional in-person coffee/lunch meetings to discuss product direction, growth opportunities, and roadmap planning.
