Are you ready to explore an exciting opportunity in the metal recycling industry? Join our dynamic team as a Parts Coordinator and play an important role in keeping our fleet, equipment, and maintenance operations running efficiently.

Why You'll Love This Role:

As a Parts coordinator, you won't just be filling a role; you will play a vital role in supporting our operations team by coordinating parts purchasing, inventory, preventative maintenance requirements, vendor relationships, and service documentation across our locations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

Review all service orders to ensure all parts are correctly documented and accounted for.

- Obtain estimates, issue purchase orders & maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Create, maintain and manage Service Interval PM Checklists on all fleet equipment, including identifying and adding required items for correct service intervals.
- Manage operating system (Limble/NetSuite)
- Monitor all fleet generated PM services and ensure the required filters, fluids, and other parts are available before work is scheduled.
- Perform signing officer duties relating to annual SGI truck and trailer safety inspections.
- Monitor and maintain consumable supplies within the maintenance shop.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain inventory at the maintenance shop and within all assigned locations.




- Analyze parts consumption and adjust inventory levels based on operational requirements.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties.
- Coordinate and complete annual inventory counts at each assigned location.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Perform service advisor duties as required.
- Travel may be required.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in parts coordinator/advisor role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Robust communication skills
- Previous experience in inventory management, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, or a related environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of parts purchasing, purchase orders, service orders, and preventative maintenance is considered an asset.
- Experience with SGI truck and trailer safety requirements or signing officer duties is considered an asset.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license.
