Our office provides a very warm nurturing environment. Our staff enjoy coming to work and seeing the incredible changes in our patients. We are looking for someone who wants more satisfaction out of their career and who wants to function in a positive work environment, and who embodies the values of purpose, integrity and fun.
We will train the right person as needed. The office is very busy and is an optometric specialty practice (vision therapy). We work with many children, as well as adults with significant vision difficulties.
We need a patient care coordinator to manage the front desk, to also help with patient care, administrative responsibilities and creating social media posts. Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills required, including a pleasant phone personality. Must possess a mature, flexible attitude, robust attention to detail and ability to follow-up.
Must have experience using MS Office, especially Word and Excel. Some knowledge of billing and insurance for a healthcare practice would be helpful. Must be a quick learner; sales experience is a plus and is not required.
Other qualities that we are looking for include someone who is sharp and able to multi-task, comfortable collecting payments from patients and a positive, upbeat personality. Please note, this job does require some bending and lifting up to 30lbs. We look forward to meeting you.
Pay: $23.00 per hour
