About SpectacoKids

SpectacoKids is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy centre providing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other supportive services to children and families. Our team is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based, and family-centred care that helps children develop meaningful skills and participate more independently at home, school, and in the community.

What You'll Do

- Support occupational therapists in delivering therapy services
- Assist with assessment preparation and implementation of treatment plans
- Work directly with children on therapeutic activities and exercises
- Help implement fine motor, sensory, and self-care interventions
- Document observations and progress under OT supervision

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare therapy materials and organize treatment spaces
- Assist with client monitoring and data collection
- Support parent/caregiver education under OT direction
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with the clinical team
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures

Qualifications

- Completion of an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) program or an equivalent recognized educational program.
- Experience working with children is considered an asset.
- Pediatric therapy or developmental disability experience is considered an asset.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary clinical environment is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.




- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and direction from a supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.
- Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment.

Supervision The OTA will provide assigned occupational therapy service components under the direction and supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist. The supervising OT remains responsible and accountable for the occupational therapy services provided.
