This position in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is aimed at mid to senior-level interventional cardiologists.
It comprises 60% clinical work within the esteemed pediatric cardiology division and 40% dedicated to research and teaching. Collaborate with experienced cardiologists to enhance clinical services and partake in vital research initiatives that impact pediatric cardiac care across Western Canada. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical cardiac procedures and outpatient consultations
- Mentor students and residents in the cardiology field
- Advance research initiatives with a focus on impactful publications
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across healthcare teams
- Engage in clinical service, including consultations and calls Requirements:
- MD and completed residency in Pediatrics
- Minimum 1 year in advanced interventional pediatric cardiology
- Solid track record of research publications
- Certification eligibility from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Licensure eligibility with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta Drive innovation in pediatric cardiology while impacting future generations through teaching and research at the University of Alberta.
