Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene during meal times
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning client living spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury for both clients and caregivers
- Document care provided accurately in client records,



including any changes in condition or behavior

Skills

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Strong background in senior care, home care, or caregiving roles with a focus on compassionate support
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs while maintaining professionalism
