Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
- Perform light cleaning and household tasks to maintain a secure and hygienic environment
- Help with transfers and positioning to prevent falls and promote comfort




- Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly valued
- Strong understanding of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medications accurately and follow safety procedures
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening
- Capable of performing light cleaning, meal preparation, and home care duties efficiently
- Good physical stamina for assisting clients with mobility and transfers
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage clients positively
