Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity
- Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols to ensure proper health management
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, fostering health and enjoyment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe workplace for clients
- Help with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to prevent falls and injuries




- Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members

Experience

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to deliver quality support
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and managing clients with cognitive impairments is preferred
- Experience in medication administration ensures adherence to safety standards and protocols
- Proven caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with home care practices including meal preparation, cleaning, and personal assistance is advantageous
