Pillosophy Pharmacy is a current independent community pharmacy in the Grandview-Woodland area.

Our mission is simple: to make healthcare affordable, accessible, accountable, and approachable.

We are building a warm, patient-centred pharmacy that combines excellent clinical care with a supportive team culture.

We are looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant who is friendly, responsible, and eager to learn and grow with our pharmacy. This position is currently for Fridays only. Additional shifts may become available in the future as the pharmacy grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and process prescriptions accurately
- Assist with prescription data entry and preparation
- Support pharmacy workflow, including counting, packaging, and labelling medications
- Maintain OTC and retail sections, including stocking, facing, and organizing products
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service
- Answer phone calls and assist with in-person inquiries
- Process customer payments
- Deliver medications to patients in the local community
- Support community outreach activities and build positive relationships with patients and local community organizations
- Interact respectfully and compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds,



including individuals experiencing housing instability and other barriers to healthcare
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support pharmacists and other team members with day-to-day pharmacy operations

Qualifications Required

- Comfortable communicating in English with patients (in-person and by phone)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Customer service experience (retail or healthcare)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy software (e.g., Kroll/Propel Rx)
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Current First Aid certification
