Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions and medical orders.

Maintain organized medication inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate and expired items are properly disposed of.

Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting medication administration when appropriate.

Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, updating patient records, and processing insurance claims efficiently.

Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and pharmacy protocols to uphold safety and quality standards.





Support the pharmacy team during busy periods by managing phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with healthcare providers.

Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized pharmacy environment to meet health regulations and company policies.

Experience

Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred.

Experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is advantageous for understanding medication handling procedures.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology enhances communication with healthcare professionals and patients.

Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care with attention to detail.

Familiarity with medication administration processes is beneficial for supporting clinical workflows.

Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning about pharmacy practices and healthcare regulation.
