Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations using medical terminology accurately.
- Assist in diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Administer medications and manage pain control strategies effectively.
- Document patient encounters meticulously within electronic medical records ensuring data collection accuracy.
- Provide patient education on treatment options, medication administration, and home care instructions to promote health literacy

Experience

- Experience working with electronic medical records, Telus PS Suite EMR




- Knowledge of medical terminology coupled with excellent patient care skills in diverse clinical environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with patients across various settings.

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- Family medicine: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Graduate Accredited Physician Assistant Program (required)
