In this Class 1 Truck Driver position, you'll operate one of our 53’ flat-deck trailers and be responsible for safely transporting goods within Nova Scotia. Ideal candidates will have flat-deck experience, ensure compliance with all safety protocols, and maintain excellent customer service while on the road. You will work directly under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow safe driving procedures always
• Package and pick materials as needed
• Efficiently load and unload all goods
• Inspect the vehicle thoroughly before driving
• Keep detailed transportation records and logs
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 license with Air
• Minimum of 2-3 years in flat-deck driving
• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
• Must be able to lift heavy objects
• Robust communication and math skills required
