Shape patient recovery as a Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services with Nova Scotia Health. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance functional outcomes for patients at Halifax Infirmary. This casual, part time position seeks a dedicated Physiotherapist for the Bone & Joint department.
In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and implement tailored treatment programs utilizing various therapeutic techniques. You will also supervise students and assistants while contributing to team goal-setting and effectiveness evaluation. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients with functional impairments
- Develop holistic treatment programs using diverse modalities
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment options
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
- Collaborate with health professionals for patient management Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Membership with Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience in inpatient acute care is an asset
