Duties

- Assist physiotherapists in delivering therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities to patients across various care settings.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth therapy sessions.
- Support patient mobility by helping with transfers, positioning, and gait training under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress during sessions, noting any changes or concerns to inform ongoing care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment activities, and progress notes.
- Uphold safety protocols and infection control standards to create a secure setting for patients and staff.




- Provide compassionate patient care by offering encouragement and addressing basic needs during therapy sessions.

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a private clinic, hospital or acute care environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare settings with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support patients’ needs.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols diligently.
