We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about patient care, rehabilitation, and helping people achieve their recovery goals.
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physiotherapists to support treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physiotherapists in implementing individualized treatment programs.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs.
- Set up and monitor therapeutic modalities as directed by the Physiotherapist.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and patient documentation.
- Educate patients on exercises and home care programs as directed.
- Support clinic operations, schedule patients, billing
- Ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for all patients.
Qualifications
- Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or healthcare setting is considered an asset.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
