As a Home Visitor, leverage strength-based practices to support families with young children and promote safety during early development. This role is vital in enhancing family dynamics and community ties.
In this role, you'll engage with families during crucial developmental years, supported by guidance from Public Health Nurses. Your focus will be on utilizing best practices and curriculum resources to facilitate positive parenting experiences. You'll help families navigate their goals related to culture and parenting through regular home visits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct strength-based family home visits
• Support parenting through evidence-informed activities
• Facilitate community connections for families




• Implement culturally safe practices in home settings
• Collaborate with Public Health teams for holistic support
Requirements:
• 1+ year experience working with families with children aged 0-5
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certification in Social Services or Early Childhood education preferred
• Solid interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required
Utilize your knowledge of early childhood growth and development to enhance family interactions as a Home Visitor.
