We are a long established community oriented bakery, reopening under new ownership. Our from scratch menu focuses on bread and baked comfort food items.
Responsibilities
- Work with a small team to bake a variety of products from scratch, daily.
- Maintain an efficient, clean, organized and positive baking environment.
- Development and testing of new and seasonal products.
- Coordinate daily production requirements to meet customer demand.
- Troubleshoot production and operational issues.
- Assist management with production planning and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Early risers
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Committed to producing high quality baked goods while maintaining cleanliness and efficiencies in the bakery
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
Education
- Minimum 2 years skilled baking experience
- Supervisory experience would be an asset
- Red Seal or Journey Person certification
Employment Details
- Position: Full-Time, Permanent
- Location: Edmonton,
Alberta
- Hours: 40 hours per week. Early morning shifts are required.
- Wage: $25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
