K&R; Plumbing & Heating is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Journeyman Service Plumber who wants more than just an hourly wage.

We are looking for a solid technician who can confidently run their own service vehicle, take care of customers from start to finish, identify additional opportunities in the home, provide solutions, and help us continue building one of the strongest plumbing and HVAC service companies in the Edmonton area.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for running a company service vehicle and completing day-to-day plumbing service calls independently.

Typical work may include

- Plumbing service and repairs
- Troubleshooting plumbing problems
- Hot water tank replacement and repair




- Fixture replacement and installation
- Sump pumps
- Water softeners
- Drain and water-line repairs
- Gas-related plumbing work where qualified
- Providing customers with repair and replacement options
- Preparing estimates and presenting solutions
- Identifying additional legitimate service opportunities
- Collecting payment and completing job documentation
- Maintaining an organized and professional service vehicle
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience

What We’re Looking For

Required

- Alberta Journeyman Plumber certification
- Strong residential service plumbing experience
- Previous sales experience or a proven ability to sell service work
- Ability to diagnose problems independently
- Ability to confidently explain options and pricing to customers
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to manage your own service vehicle and daily schedule
- Skilled appearance and attitude
- Reliable, organized and accountable
- Comfortable using a phone/tablet and service-management software

HVAC Experience Is a Major Asset Experience with any of the following is considered a strong advantage:
- Furnaces
- Heating systems
- Gas fitting
- Garage heaters
- HVAC troubleshooting
- Air-conditioning
- Hydronic heating





A plumber with strong furnace/heating experience would be extremely valuable as we continue growing our plumbing and HVAC divisions. The Person We’re Looking For

Compensation

Starting at $40+/hour depending on experience

Commission + Performance Bonuses

Compensation will be structured to heavily reward strong technicians who deliver excellent customer service and produce results.
