Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/Plumber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and hands-on experience in mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot issues related to heating and cooling systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Perform plumbing tasks as needed for HVAC installations or repairs.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electricians and construction teams to complete projects effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.




- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all work performed.

Skills

- Proficient in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair with a solid understanding of mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with welding techniques for system repairs or modifications.
- Knowledge of boiler systems and their operation is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair and general maintenance tasks.
