Manager, Customer Segments to develop and execute partnership and community engagement strategies across youth, student, and newcomer segments - JP1728
Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid ( Must work from office on Tuesdays & Thursday & alternate Fridays)
We're looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader to accelerate growth across our priority segments through youth and student partnerships and newcomer community engagement events and experiences.
In this role, you will develop and execute campus partnerships and event strategies that strengthen our presence within youth, student and newcomer communities, driving customer acquisition, engagement, and long-term loyalty.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, partnerships, consulting, or business development
- Proven ability to build and scale external partnerships that drive measurable growth
- Experience or understanding of youth, student, newcomer segments, including differences between domestic and international student needs
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across internal and external environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
- Risk-aware mindset / applying sound risk judgement in business decision making
Nice to Have
- Experience working with post-secondary institutions, youth ecosystems, or community organizations
- Background in banking, financial services, or customer growth environments
Responsibilitites
- Build and manage strategic relationships with post-secondary institutions, student associations, international student offices, and newcomer ecosystem partners.
- Develop and execute partnership initiatives across campus, community, and digital channels to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention among youth, student, and newcomer segments.
- Oversee segment level sponsorships, co-branded activations,
and community engagement events that enhance brand visibility and deliver meaningful customer experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance and Branch teams to deliver integrated, compliant experiences
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities through emerging partnerships, channels, and community networks.
- Leverage performance insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to optimize segment strategies and partnership investments.
- Develop business cases, partnership proposals, and executive recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage partnership operations, including onboarding, contracts, budgets, payments, and expense tracking.
- Deliver targeted marketing campaigns and stakeholder presentations, collaborating with senior external partners and utilizing compelling storytelling to drive impact.
