Become an Aquatics Supervisor at the YMCA of the National Capital Region, emphasizing safety and high-quality aquatic programs. This role combines leadership with community impact, offering 25-30 hours per week.
You'll provide operational leadership within the Aquatics department while focusing on meeting statutory standards and enhancing the member experience. Your responsibilities include staff coaching, performance oversight, and driving enrollment through program enhancements. Work closely with the General Manager to achieve departmental objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead secure, efficient delivery of aquatic programs
• Assess program performance and recommend improvements
• Schedule staffing and manage operational needs




• Train and develop aquatic staff while providing feedback
• Collaborate with departments for overall operational support
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of progressive aquatics experience
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Knowledge of recreation management tools and software
• Standard First Aid and CPR certifications mandatory
• Valid permit to work in Canada along with Police Record check
