In this role, you’ll work under the Manager of Housing, Shelters, & Community Services, responsible for operational success at your assigned location. You will lead a team that engages with family members to promote life skills and maintain facility standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in program evaluation and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain safety protocols and calming interventions
• Oversee intake processes for new residents
• Provide frontline supervision to all shelter staff
• Report incidents and unsafe conditions promptly
• Foster community relationships and local partnerships
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in community services is an asset
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Understanding of social issues related to homelessness
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training preferred
