Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and test POS systems and grocery equipment according to technical schematics and installation guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware components, including computer hardware, peripherals, and network connections
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, adjust, or repair equipment as needed during installations or service calls
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and low voltage plans to ensure accurate setup of electrical and data connections
- Conduct system diagnostics for connectivity issues related to computer networking and low voltage systems, resolving problems efficiently
- Document installation procedures,



maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps clearly for record-keeping and future reference
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure minimal disruption during installations or repairs

Skills

- Experience with Logivision POS is an asset.
- Solid understanding of computer networking principles and protocols essential for POS connectivity
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for assembly or repairs
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and their integration within POS systems
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems common in retail environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware or network issues
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and store personnel during installations
