Join our team at the Eckville Farm Centre as a part-time Yard Attendant.Position: Yard AttendantPart-time: 24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.Availability: Weekdays and weekends-mornings, afternoons, and evenings.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer serviceEnsure equipment is operated in a safe and responsible matterKeep yard and warehouse free of obstructions, debris, and snow and stack pallets as requiredOperate hand and/or controlled forkliftsPrepare orders to ensure prompt deliveryStock, face and rotate inventory following the First In, First Out (FIFO) processPerform additional duties as assigned by the managerQualificationsExceptional attention to detail and qualityHighly self-motivatedAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentOutstanding customer service and communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyValid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an assetMust provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hireExperience running a forklift is preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is requiredApplicants must be over 14 years old.
