This mandate also includes the recruitment and retention of a competent public service that is representative of the people it serves andthe development of programs and services that effectively serve the human resource needs of the public service.Job InformationThe Manager, Justice Technical Services is responsible for the overall planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of electronic and physical security solutions used by the Department of Justice, as well as specialized technology systems supporting Court Services, Correctional Services, and the Judiciary. The position maintains a shared reporting relationship between Information Systems Shared Services and the Judiciary and serves as the Chief Judicial Information/Security Officer for the NWT Supreme Court and Territorial Court when representing the Judiciary. The position supervises a team of technical specialists and works closely with judges, court staff, correctional facility personnel, law enforcement agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage specialized justice technology and security systems, including courtroom technology, surveillance systems, access control systems, telecommunications,
