Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prepper/Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for repair, performing bodywork repairs, and ensuring that each vehicle meets our high standards of quality. This position offers an exciting chance to develop your automotive repair skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

- Remove damaged panels and parts using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and taping surfaces accurately
- Perform light body repairs such as dent removal, panel alignment, and surface smoothing




- Assist in disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components during repairs
- Use mechanical knowledge to identify issues and ensure proper fitment of parts
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or damaged panels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications

- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in bodywork techniques
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Automotive body technician background highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team
