Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM $25/hour

I am a 61-year-old woman living with MS who uses a power wheelchair and am looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver with PSW or similar experience to assist me in my home for 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday The role includes assistance with personal care, transfers, meal preparation, and support with a daily exercise routine.

I transfer using a ceiling lift, so experience with lifts is an asset, although training can be provided.

A key part of this position is helping me stay active. The successful candidate will be comfortable providing hands-on assistance with stretching, range of motion exercises, and strength training. Exercises take place both on a bed and in a standing frame, so confidence working with physical activity and proper body mechanics is key.

Responsibilities





- Transfers using a ceiling lift
- Showering, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Daily stretching and range of motion exercises
- Assistance with strength training and exercise
- Meal preparation and basic kitchen clean-up

Qualifications

- PSW, CCA, Rehabilitation Assistant, or equivalent caregiving experience
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Physically capable of assisting with exercise and range of motion activities
- Confident in the kitchen and able to prepare meals
- Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
