Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you enjoy working in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment? The Meadows Golf & Country Club is currently looking for a Pro Shop Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the golf season.

As one of Ottawa's premier public golf facilities, The Meadows offers golfers a unique experience with four distinct nine-hole courses that create multiple 18-hole course combinations. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy interacting with people and helping create a memorable experience for our guests.

Position: Pro Shop Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

- Welcome golfers and provide a friendly, professional first impression
- Check golfers in for their scheduled tee times
- Process green fee, power cart, merchandise, and other retail transactions
- Answer telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Assist golfers with tee time bookings, changes, and cancellations
- Provide information about the golf course, policies, events, promotions, and daily course conditions
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked Pro Shop
- Assist with merchandising and inventory management
- Work closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience




- Assist in the setup and/or tear down of tournaments and other events
- Support daily opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced setting
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous customer service, retail, or golf course experience is considered an asset but is not required
- Knowledge of golf is beneficial but not essential
