Process Server & Court Runner

About the Role

Pugsley Court Agents Inc. is looking for a reliable, professional individual to join our team as a Process Server and Court Runner in Saskatoon.

This is a flexible, on-call role involving the delivery of legal documents, attendance at courthouses and other locations, and completion of basic reports following each assignment.

The position is well suited to someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to travel throughout Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

No previous process-serving experience is required. Training and instructions will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Personally serve legal documents on individuals and businesses
- Attend residential, commercial, and other addresses to complete service attempts
- Attend courthouses to file, retrieve, copy, or scan documents
- Pick up and deliver legal documents as required
- Follow specific instructions provided for each assignment
- Provide prompt updates following every service attempt or court attendance
- Record accurate details including dates, times, addresses, and descriptions of service attempts
- Take photographs or obtain other supporting information when required
- Return completed documents and reports electronically
- Communicate promptly with our administrative team
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling legal matters

Requirements
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable access to a vehicle
- Smartphone with data and camera
- Reliable internet access
- Ability to print and scan documents when necessary
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable approaching residences and businesses and speaking with members of the public
- Dependable and responsive throughout assigned files
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to work independently

Previous experience in process serving,



courier work, law enforcement, legal services, investigations, delivery driving, or court services is an asset but not required.

Schedule

This is an on-call, flexible position rather than a traditional fixed-hour schedule.

Assignments will be offered as they become available. Work may take place during weekdays, evenings, and occasionally weekends depending on the requirements of the file.

Applicants with versatile availability throughout the day and evening are preferred.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour

Approved assignment-related expenses will be handled in accordance with company policies.
