This role oversees branch inventory and supply planning, driving performance, managing supplier relationships, and leading a team to support overall business goals. Establishes, tracks and communicates branch targets related to inventory and service performance Manages, develops, mentors and trains purchasing personnel including a team of Supply Planners, Forecaster and Inventory Coordinator Works proactively with purchasing and sales teams to monitor and reduce underperforming inventory Assesses purchasing options and completes purchase approvals Establishes goals and strategies for improved forecast performance for the branch and works directly with the Forecaster and Sales team to review performance and opportunities for improvement Develops, mentors and trains purchasing personnel including a team of Supply Planners, Forecaster and Inventory Coordinator University degree or specialized certification (PMAC, APICS, or related work experience) Ability to analyze alternatives, use judgment and initiative in managing inventory The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
