Join Blue Robotics as a Junior Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation in marine robotics. This full time hybrid position in Torrance, CA blends CAD design, prototyping, and collaborative engineering.
You will support the design and testing of robust mechanical components for underwater applications at Blue Robotics. Responsibilities entail creating CAD models, assisting with prototypes, and collaborating with senior engineers on R&D; projects. Your work will enhance performance based on field testing and customer feedback while ensuring designs are manufacturable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine CAD models and technical drawings
• Collaborate on prototyping and testing mechanical systems
• Conduct basic analyses and participate in design sessions




• Document changes and support product enhancements
• Work with teams across electronics, software, and operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency with CAD tools for design and analysis
• Experience in machine design and mechanical testing
• Interest in marine applications and rugged components
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a hybrid setup
