Join Variety Village as a part-time Swim Instructor, located in Scarborough, Ontario. This flexible role helps deliver safe and fun aquatic programming that promotes inclusivity and participant engagement.

In this position, you will instruct swim lessons following Lifesaving Society standards and maintain a positive learning atmosphere for participants. Responsibilities include ongoing participant evaluations, lesson planning, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Key Responsibilities:



• Teach swimming lessons aligned with Lifesaving Society guidelines • Ensure current certifications and compliance with department policies • Perform weekly participant evaluations and create report cards • Develop lesson plans for aquatic programs • Foster a safe and inclusive setting for all participants

Requirements: • At least 15 years of age and eligible to work in Canada • Valid National Lifeguard and First Aid certifications • Current Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor credential required • Previous experience in recreation or aquatics preferred • Strong organizational and communication abilities
