We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Marble Setters to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Create desired edges on countertops (¼" Radius, Bullnose, Chamfers, and Ogee edges) using handheld power tools such as a polisher
- Produce templates (wood representations of the countertop)
- Lift countertops off the truck, carry the pieces into the customer's home, place them, and seal them
- Apply silicone-caulking, and glue as needed to set quartz, marble, granite, and sintered stone in position and apply pressure to affix quartz, marble, granite, and sintered stone to base
- Fill joints between quartz, marble, granite, and sintered stone with caulking and clean off any excess material
- Accurately measure and mark installation surfaces based on templates or blueprints




- Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Cut, shape, polish, and install marble and granite surfaces to specification and blueprints
- Prepare base layers and attach support parts such as bolts, wires, and brackets
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged or cracked quartz, marble, granite, and sintered stone as necessary

Employment Requirements

- Completion of Secondary School
- At least 3 years of experience installing and fabricating granite and marble countertops

Skills

- Preference will be given to those who has knowledge of larger machines and be able to run those machines such as bridge saw, a Sasso brand edger, possibly a CNC machine.
- Able to do heavy lifting (stone countertop pieces).
- Must have positive eye for details and be able to think on their feet.
