Production Line Technician

Duties:

- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing applicable parts lists and gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials necessary for efficient task completion.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies according to efficient & safe procedures.
- Cleans and maintains work area, tools, and equipment.
- Promptly advises supervisor of any safety and/or quality control issues.
- Keeps equipment operational by; completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and advising supervisor of any repairs.
- Always maintains a safe working environment.
- Documents actions by completing required forms in an timely and accurate manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
