Role Summary The Production Logistics Technician supports the physical flow of industrial materials into, through, and out of the facility. Functioning as a shipper/receiver within a manufacturing environment, this role works closely with Production and Supply Chain to keep materials moving safely, accurately, and without interruption. The position is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming goods, supporting quality checks and reporting, staging and replenishing materials for production, tracking inventory movement, and loading finished products for outbound delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, unload, verify, and store raw materials in designated areas.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to coordinate incoming materials, resolve receiving issues, and support accurate material availability.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage, accuracy, quality concerns, and documentation issues, and report discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain basic inventory tracking by recording material movement, identifying shortages, and supporting cycle counts or inventory checks as required.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and in accordance with company procedures and certification requirements.
- Stage, move, and replenish materials at machines, production lines, and workstations to support uninterrupted workflow.
- Monitor material availability and proactively support production teams by helping prevent shortages or delays.
- Load finished products for outbound delivery using overhead crane and other approved material-handling equipment.
- Maintain organized storage areas, clear travel paths, and safe material flow throughout the facility.




- Inspect, care for, and report issues with material-handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, slings, rigging, and related tools.
- Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational procedures while handling materials and supporting production.
- Work closely with production, shipping, receiving, and supervision teams to support daily priorities and schedule requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

- Valid forklift certification required.
- Overhead crane certification required or ability to obtain certification as required by the company.
- Previous experience in an industrial shipping/receiving, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material-handling environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of safe lifting, rigging, loading, unloading, and material movement practices.
- Ability to read and understand labels, work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, material lists, inventory records, and basic production documentation.
- Basic computer or inventory system skills considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clean, safe, and efficient storage areas.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently while supporting team priorities.




- Comfortable working in a quick-paced production environment with changing daily priorities.

Work Environment

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials as required throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials within company safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working around forklifts, cranes, production equipment, and active manufacturing operations.
- Must follow required personal protective equipment, housekeeping, and workplace safety standards at all times.
