ISE is looking to hire a Program Manager to join their growing team!
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex programs for both domestic and international customers, serving as ISE’s primary customer representative throughout the program lifecycle. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Development, the Program Manager supports the development of bids and proposals and leads the successful execution of awarded contracts. This role coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives while ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business goals, and contractual commitments.
The Program
Manager is accountable for program planning, execution, and delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, quality, and safety performance. As a leader of multidisciplinary teams, the Program Manager drives collaboration, accountability, and program success across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support business development activities by contributing to the preparation of bids and proposals, including program execution plans, schedules, resource requirements, cost estimates, and technical submissions.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex commercial programs throughout the full program lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships. Effectively manage customer expectations while balancing business objectives, contractual requirements, and project priorities.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance throughout the program lifecycle.
- Establish, monitor, and communicate program performance through effective management of scope, budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables, and other key performance indicators.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks, issues, opportunities, and constraints, implementing mitigation and corrective actions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate program interdependencies and stakeholder activities to achieve program objectives and customer commitments.
- Plan and oversee domestic and international program-related travel activities, including deployments, customer engagements, demonstrations, testing, and field support, while working closely with internal travel coordinators and external partners.
- Ensure program documentation, records, and reporting are maintained in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Champion a strong safety culture by integrating safety considerations into program planning and execution, ensuring compliance with organizational safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance program management practices, processes, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant career experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of Program Management experience for complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, monitoring and executing budget and resource allocation for multi-million dollar programs.
- Experience managing large and complex projects in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Must hold a valid Canadian passport to support international travel.
Physical Requirements Ability to reliably commute to the workplace or relocate prior to the start date.
