Join a dynamic Canadian mining company as a Project Engineer, focusing on innovative mining studies and technical leadership in a hybrid work environment. Contribute to the Los Reyes Project and other initiatives across the Morelos Complex while interacting with top engineering consultants. The recent Project Engineer position will support the Studies Manager in overseeing multidisciplinary mining studies.
This role requires a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, significant engineering experience, and strong communication skills to liaise between internal teams and external consultants. As the project progresses, you'll take on leadership and mentoring responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multidisciplinary mining studies across the project portfolio
- Serve as technical lead for assigned studies
- Review mine design and technical work across disciplines
- Identify and address design concerns and inconsistencies
- Monitor study progress and notify stakeholders on delivery concerns Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive mining engineering experience
- Experience with mine operations and multidisciplinary studies
- Familiarity with NI 43-101 requirements
