The Role: Project Manager – Mass Timber
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer
What Success Looks Like
· You lead mass timber construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
· You coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects running smoothly
· You bring strong technical knowledge of CLT, glulam, and other engineered wood products to optimize design and construction
· You uphold safety, compliance, and sustainability standards on every job site
· You foster a collaborative team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Responsibilities
· Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
· Coordinate engineering, shop drawings, procurement, fabrication, and installation activities.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
· Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
· Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor budgets.
· Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and installation logistics.
· Track project costs, progress, and contract changes.
· Identify and resolve project risks while maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications
· Diploma or degree in Engineering, Project Management, or proven experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator in commercial construction
· Experience with mass timber construction (CLT, glulam, etc.) strongly preferred
· Strong knowledge of building codes, sustainable building practices, and industry standards
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
· Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
· A passion for sustainability and alignment with Cornerstone’s values of integrity, authenticity, and environmental stewardship
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software
